As a class we produced this questionnaire for our audience research, there were 10 questions and we asked a total of 17 people which means our results are limited, but i still think that the results sumed up the college effectively. We asked a total of 7 males and 10 females, this is good because we needed to find out what both males and females want from a college magazine (as it is a magazine for both genders) , so by having roughly the same number or both males and females it will mean our results are useful. We also asked 'what are you interested in' and found a wide variety of results from this because of the fact we asked a large variety of people; but the most popular results included fashion and music so i will make sure i include both of these interests in my magazine to make sure i appeal to my audience. From the questionnaire i also found that people are willing to pay for the magazine (up to £2) but the majority would prefer it to be free and therefore i will be making my magazine free. In addition, from more than one of the questions i have found that socialising with friends is very important to the students therefore i plan to include the idea of socialising with in my college magazine, for example i could include pictures of social groups around the school. Plus, gossip, fashion, college parties and events also seemed to be of high interest to many of the students and therefore i will be including them also. Portfolio Sections
