Here is my second idea, i have changed the image to a photograph of a band. I prefer the colour scheme in this idea as well as it represents the theme of rock more than my first idea.
I have kept the name of band in the middle though, because i really like how it stand out.
Also i have kept the masthead at the top, as it is conventional to have the title at the top of the page as it will be the 1st thing the viewers look at.
