Who would be the audience for your media product?

Life style/Subculture
Rock/punk






Here is the reader profile of my magazine which shows the stereotypical reader's interests.
Music will be a big part of their lifestyle and they will spend money buying musical gadgets and also going to music festivals, but also they will be very conscious of their appearance so will be interested in fashion also so will have lots of fashionable brands in their wardrobes and shop at 'fashionable' shops.
They won't have lots of money to spare so when choosing to have something to eat they will want something that is quickly prepared and cheap(fast food places).
They also will be up to date with technology as they are young adults and will have all the latest gadgets. in addition to this they will use the Internet and undoubtedly use social networks such as Facebook.



My target audience will want to by my magazine because it will be a fashionable new magazine that will appeal to their interests and will include articles that they will be able to relate to. It will feature the genre of music that they listen to and also the language will appeal to them. The information will be not be complex and a lot of the time will be image based as from research i have found lots of information puts young adults/teenagers off reading it.

The sorts of products that will be advertised in my magazine will be the latest gadgets, fashionable shops and music based products such as ipods and headphones. Also a festival could be advertised on a page in my magazine. All these things could be advertised in my magazine because they appeal to my target audience, all of the products in my reader profile above have the potential to be advertised in my magazine because the interest the readers and therefore the advertising companies will want their products advertised somewhere where their target audience are going to see them.
